Heather brings more than 20 years of clinical experience and a warm, collaborative approach to helping individuals and families navigate trauma, addiction, mental health concerns, and relationship challenges.

Heather brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to Family-Centered Services. She helps individuals and families work through trauma, addiction, co-occurring mental health concerns, and relationship challenges.

Her work began in 1996, when she volunteered on the crisis line at the Crisis Clinic of King County. Heather has worked in community mental health, King County Mental Health Court and Drug Court, private practice, and intensive outpatient treatment.

Heather’s approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She uses EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and hypnotherapy, and she has taught and applied DBT skills for 15 years. She works with adults facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, and major life transitions. She meets clients and families where they are and helps them feel heard, build on their strengths, and move toward a meaningful life.

At the heart of Heather’s work is a commitment to helping people feel heard, respected, and supported. She meets clients and families where they are, creating space to explore difficult experiences, recognize strengths, and move toward a meaningful life while reducing suffering.
