In our recent Virtual Family Support group, we had a deeply engaging discussion about boundaries and the crucial transition from treatment to home.

A key focus was on the importance of externalizing our loved ones from their disease, helping us see them as individuals separate from their addiction. We also processed complex emotions like guilt, shame, and anger, providing a safe space for everyone to share and find support. Our group began exploring the handout on setting healthy boundaries, a vital tool for maintaining balance and well-being.

Additionally, we read excerpts from “The Courage to Change,” which provided valuable insights and encouragement. We are grateful for the participation and openness of all members.
